SP1 vs SP2 comparison review, with sample images a SP-1 owner, and just got my SP-2, about 2 days ago. did some testing, and comparison between the two.

Quick business card sized prints from a small printer. I preordered the SP-2, and couldn't wait to try it out. It's small and fits easily in my camera bag with a few packs of film. Unlike the SP-1, the 2 uses a rechargeable NP-45S battery instead of an alkaline battery that's hard to find and runs out quickly. The 2 does drain the battery pretty quick, but you can get a 3 pack of NP-45S's and a charger for under $20 here on Amazon, so put a couple extra in your bag as well.

Good, not great. Would not recommend the upgrade from SP-1 Having been a big fan of the original Instax Share SP-1, I was looking forward to the SP-2. It seemed to have everything we needed: Faster, smaller, better battery type, high resolution, nicer design.. Unfortunately after some use most of these points fall short.
