Great toy to fidget with at home/school/office desks. Great small gift! Small metal Slinkys are infinitely more fun than the cheap plastic Slinkys you may have received as a cheap party favor or as an arcade prize. These are smaller than the "classic" slinky, which actually makes them great as a small toy for desks and offices, since you can fidget with them with just one hand. I've had one or more on my various home/school/work desks over the last few years and everyone loves to play with them. I give them out all the time as small gifts, stocking...

Great for Antennas! I used these to make Dipole Antennas of and tapped base coils for HF radio antennas. They work really well. Easy to solder and they fit right over ABS pipe. They don't work well as a slinky. They are too small/short.

Fun to watch I put it on the shepherds pole with the bird feeder. I put a branch in the bottom to weigh it down a bit. The squirrels get to the slinky and the slinky puts them right back on their bum. Fun to watch! After a day of trying, the squirrels gave up and just find the seeds that fell to the ground. I do put some extra food out for the squirrels.
