2012 full-length debut album from the Indie quintet. The album was recorded with Dan Carey (Hot Chip, the Kills) in South London. Toy’s musical influences incorporate a wide range of genres including punk, Psychedelia, Krautrock, Post Rock to name a few and they explore experimental recording techniques in the studio.

Shockingly Good First Album This is a shockingly good sounding first album.Thank God - *finally* - for a new, young band that - although influenced by shoegazer/Krautrock bands of recent decades - sounds futuristic, sophisticated, powerful, atmospheric, rather than the recent dirge of pretend "indie-rock" groups that really just sound like a generic wave of "folk-revivalist" "neo-bluegrass" comedy bands. Thank God.

wonderful creative album this is an amazing composition. most of the songs move into each other and flow.there's a bunch of videos i found online where you could see the people performing live sessions of the music.playing this through a good system is really amazing, and it's very interesting music. it's mostly adorable cute kiddy sounding music.i wouldn't really recommend it to people who aren't into really quirky music.
