SmartShaker FAQ

Q: Does SmartShaker still work if I lose my phone or put my phone in the different room?
A: Yes, as long as you have set an alarm on SmartShaker through the app, the unit will continue to work regardless of the location of your phone.

Q: Is the vibration strong? Is it good for heavy sleeper?
A: SmartShaker vibrates three times stronger than an iPhone’s alarm. Many of our customers replied back that it has a strong enough alarm to wake up and the tone is loud enough to hear as well.

Q: If I put the SmartShaker under the pillow, would it bother me?
A: It is small and light. You will not feel it in your sleep.

Q: Why does the SmartShaker ‘show’ as disconnected after it is paired?
A: The SmartShaker is designed to function independently. Since it does not need to be connected, it will disconnect from your device after making any changes to the settings.

Q: Why is my SmartShaker beeping?
A: The SmartShaker uses beeps to indication connection and battery status.
– Start Sync – 2 Beeps
– Terminating app connection – 4 Beeps
– Reconnection to app – 2 Beeps
– Battery is under 15% – Beeps once a minute
– Battery is fully charge – Beeps once a minute (Please disconnect the charger)

Unreliable, frequently disconnects causing the alarm to fail to go off! My wife is deaf and we've had issues with the cords wearing out and eventually breaking on SonicBoom alarm clocks. So this wireless shaker seemed like it would be a miracle when we first ordered it, and initially it was. Set up wasn't overly difficult, however, the application was a little awkward getting the alarm set up and then saved to start. But after reading through the directions a couple times and playing around with it, we finally got it worked out.

turned them both back on and it synced fine. I do also own the sonic boom alarm ... Works as described, I'm a heavy sleeper and alone it wouldn't wake me up. Combined with myphone alarm and other alarm clock it does the job. After the first week I did have a problem with it not syncing back to my phone, tried everything finally I turned off the bluetooth on my phone and turned the device off, turned them both back on and it synced fine.I do also own the sonic boom alarm clock/bed shaker, I prefer this since it is cable free, weaker but I like it.

Great idea.. If it worked.. So disappointed What a great concept!... Except it doesn't work. So this alarm only goes off 50% of the time I use it, and I make sure it's on and sync'd before I go to bed. It does a great job the days it works... But if you can't trust an alarm to go off, it's worthless...no matter how neat the idea. Also, it doesn't tell me when it's done charging, so when I finally decide it's done and take off and sync, it tells me 100%. Two days later it is suddenly at 50-75% depending on its mood I guess. Great,...
