If you're not an actual AT&T customer (I use Straight Talk ), you might want to read this review. What is confusing about buying one of these unlocked phones from Amazon is that they have so many different model numbers. Some are meant for Europe, others are meant for different carriers in the U.S. You really need to research. I myself have a Straight Talk plan, and am coming from a Nexus 4 phone.

After doing a lot of research looking for an unlocked phone because I didn't want to be locked into a contract for 2 years, this was a great deal for a high end phablet and arrived as promised. Now using it with low cost Cricket service and have had no issues at all. Put in their SIMM card and works perfectly.

#1 was a lemon, #2 has been sent back twice under warranty--NO GOOD, SAMSUNG! [12/28/15--further update, and more intense hatred of this phone at end of review-]
